Veterans

United Way’s Area Agency on Aging can provide assistance to military veterans with disabilities who are at risk of having to move to a nursing home. Such veterans are eligible to apply for Veterans Administration financial assistance to pay for services needed to live at home.

Veterans assistance available to help with:

  • Navigating Veterans Services

  • Case Management & Goal Setting

  • Assessing Employment & Educations Skills

ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE TO ALL BRANCHES OF MILITARY including spouses, children, surviving spouses & dependents. Proudly serving Tarrant, Palo Pinto, Johnson, Parker, Wise, Erath, Hood, and Somervell Counties.
